We met over a decade ago, part of the same social circle—one that looked perfect from the outside. The parties, the houses, the endless weekends. But behind it? It wasn't real. It was performative, surface-level, and quietly toxic.
Life has a way of revealing what's real and what isn't.
Through our own separate divorces, everything unraveled. The friendships, the dynamics, the illusions. We both saw clearly—maybe for the first time—what we had been surrounded by. And more importantly, what we no longer wanted to be part of.
So we walked away.
Not just from people—but from patterns. From noise. From versions of ourselves that had gotten lost in it all.
And somewhere in that reset… we found each other again. For real this time.
